(i)

Given that Surface area of a cube = Surface area of pipe.

⇒ 6S² = 2(lb + bh + hl)

⇒ 6S² = 2(6x * 3x + 3x * x + x * 6x)

⇒ 6S² = 54x²

⇒ S = 3x units.

(ii)

Volume of cube = S³

                           = (3x)³

                           = 27x³

(iii)

Volume of the pipe = l * b * h

                                = 6x * 3x * x

                                = 18x³

From (ii),(iii), we get

Ratio = (27x³)/18x³

         = 3/2

       = 3 : 2
