In white light, which includes the wavelengths of the visible spectrum, the colour of an object is dictated by those wavelengths of light that its surface atoms fail to mop up. As a perfect mirror reflects back all the colours comprising white light, it’s also white.

Hii There!!!

Mirror has no colour.

It seems to be colourful just because, of spectrum, that is it reflects seven colours reaching to its surface.

However, a mirror shows Specular reflection of an object in front of it.

The rays coming from an object stricks to the reflecting surface of the mirror and thus give appearence of objects.

Anonymous: ur explanation is right but color of mirror is green
Khushi0511: How??...It may reflect green light but its colour is not green
Anonymous: Every real mirror absorbs a very tiny amount of light.
Anonymous: it best reflects light within the 510 nanometer range, which is the spectrum of visible green light. So technically, your mirror is titchy green.
