yes there is no harm in studying your study material by institute until it is based on ncert stuff . But mainly we should stick to ncert to score well enough but on the contrary solving extra questions from material is good...but it should be just for practice only

yes of course it is possible.
First read a chapter of ncert nicely and practice all questions.Then from other reference books read the same chapter.
U will get some extra information.
This way u can learn ncert as well as other reference books
