Hey mate!

Here's your answer!!
____________________

Let the speed of 1 car be x and other car be y.

Distance covered by A in 5 hrs
= 5 × X = 5x

Distance covered by Both in 5 hrs
= 5 × Y = 5y

When they travel in the same direction,

5x - 5y = 100
= x - y ➡ 20..........(1)

Now,

Distance covered by A in 1 hr
= X

Distance covered by B in 1 hr
= Y

Now, when they travel towards each other,

x + y = 100...........(2)

Now, equation (1) - (2)
= (x-y) - (x+y) = 20 - 100

∴ 2y = 80
∴ y = 40 km/hr

And x = 20 + y = 60 km/hr.

Hey mate here's your answer........

Let the speed of one car be x and other be y.

Dis covered by first car in 5 hrs - 5*x = 5x
Dis covered by both in 5 hrs -5*y

Traveling in same direction.
5x - 5y = 100
x - y = 20

Dis covered in 1 hr by first car = X
Dis covered in 1 hr by other car = Y

x + y = 100

Equation 1-2
(x-y) - (x+y) = 20-100
2y = 80
y = 40
x = 20

40+20= 60 km/hr

Hope it helps ☺️ ☺️☺️☺️
