P - block = Group 13,14,15,16,17,18 together constitute p - block.
p - block includes metal , non metals , metalloides , nobal gases.
metals = 11
non metals = 11
matalloids = 8
noble gases = 8.
the outermost orbit of these elements are incomplete so called normal gases excluding noble gasses.

S - block = group 1 and group 2 together constitute s block
no. of elements = 13
elements are all metals
the outermost orbit of these elements is incomplete so called as normal elements .
for ex. hydrogen lithium and sodium , etc.
