(i) We know that,

Exterior angle = Sum of both interior opposite angles

or, 130° = 90° + x

or, x = 40°

(ii) Similarly,

x = 70° + 80° = 150°

and, y = 180° - x (by Linear Pair of Angles)

or, y = 180° - 150° = 30°
