hey guys,

the sum of the digits in a two-digits number is 10. if 18 is subtracted from the number the result is the number eith the digits reversed. find the digit?

Here is your answer,

The two digit number = 10x+y

x+y=10

10x+y-18=10y+x
10x - x + y -10y =18
9x -9y =18
Dividing by 9,
x - y =2

Solving both the equation,

X + y =10
X - y =2

2x. =12
X=12/2
X=6

Substitute the value of x in equation to find the value of y,

X+y=10
Y=10-6
Y=4

Two digit number = 10x+y
=10x6+4
=60+4
=64
