AREA OF SHADED REGION = AREA OF LSRGE SEMICIRCLE-AREA OF CIRCLE-AREA OF SEMI CIRCLE (1 and 2)+ AREA OF SEMI CIRCLE (3)....


AREA OF CIRCLE = πr^2
22/7×45/20×45/20=11/7×81/8
=15.9 CM^2


Area of semicircle 1 = 1/2πr^2
=1/2×22/7×3/2×3/2
= 3.5 CM^2

AREA OF SEMI CIRCLE 2 = 3.5 CM^2 (SAME STEPS AS ABOVE)

AREA OF SEMICIRCLE 3 = 3.5 CM^2 (SAME STEPS AS ABOVE)

AREA OF LARGE SEMICIRCLE..=1/2×πr^2
1/2×22/7×9/2×9/2
= 31.8 CM^2

AREA OF SHADED REGION = 31.8-15.9-3.5-3.5+3.5
=31.8-19.4
=12.4 ( APPROX..)
