Recall that v = f λ v = f λ , and in a given medium under fixed temperature and humidity, v is constant. Therefore, the relationship between f and isinverse: The higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength of a sound wave. The speed of sound can change when sound travels from one medium to another.

Relationship between Speed of sound, Wave length and Frequency are--
Let the time period of a wave be T seconds
In T seconds , number of waves generated =1
So, in 1 sec , number of waves generated =1/T
But number of waves generated in 1 second is frequency
frequency=1/T
velocity= distance travelled/time taken
V= λ/T=1/T× λ
V=frequency/λ
