Blood is called as connective tissue of our body as it links each and every part of the body and brings oneness to our body

Blood is called a connective tissue because it carries with lots many digestive substances ,Oxygen from lungs ,foods from small intestine, and provide it to other tissues and organs of the body. Since, it connects heart, lungs and small intestine with other tissue of the body and works as a medium between them. hence, it is called the connective tissue of the body.
