To find the number of molecules in 0.20 moles of molecules, multiply the number of moles by the number of molecules in a mole:
(0.20 moles)(6.02 × 10^23 molecules/mole) = 1.204 × 10^23 molecules or 1.2 × 10^23 molecules rounded to two significant figures
Answer: The number of molecules present in 0.20 moles of H2O is about 1.2 × 10^23.
