Hey❕

Here is the answer of your question ⬇️⬇️

⏩ The number of bonds an atom can form within a molecule is called covalency.

⏩ This is due to electronic configuration of elements. The valency of an element is calculated by electronic configuration.
There is one method for class 9th and 10th.

It differs wth different elements. It is possible for only first 20 elements basically. An element should have 2 electrons in th first shell and 8 in the remaining. It is compulsory.

So, in the case of Helium:

e.c.=2
So, the first shell is filled.
Thus Helium doesn't have 2 valency.
It is a noble gas.

helium is a stable atom, because the first shell takes 2 and the second 8 etc
