Let the height of the box be 'x' m.

Given that cost of metal sheet per m^2 = 30.

Total cost = 1620.

Hence, Area = 1620/30

                     = 54 m^2.

Now,

Given, length of the box = 5m and breadth = 3 m.

Hence, Total surface area = 2(lb + bh + hl)

⇒ 54 = 2(5 * 3 + 3 * x + x * 5)

⇒ 54 = 2(15 + 3x + 5x)

⇒ 54 = 2(15 + 8x)

⇒ 54 = 30 + 16x

⇒ 24 = 16x

⇒ x = 1.5 m.

Therefore, height of the box = 1.5 m.

hope this helps!

Hi there!
Here's the answer :

•°•°•°•°•°<><><<><>><><>°•°•°•°•

Given,
For a metal box,
Length = 5 m
Breadth = 3 m
Let Height be x m

Rate of Metal Sheet = 30 ₹/m²
Cost of Metal Sheet = 1620 ₹

•°• Area of the box = \frac{Cost}{Rate}

= \frac{1620}{30}

= 54 m²

•°• Area of box is 54 m²
=> 2[lb + bh + hl] = 54
=> 2[(5×3) + (3×x) + (x×5)] = 54
=> 2[15 + 3x + 5x] = 54
=> 30 + 16x = 54
=> 16x = 54 - 30
=> 16x = 24
=> x = 24/16
=> x = 1.5 m

•°• Height = 1.5 m

•°•°•°•°•°<><><<><>><><>°•°•°•°•

Hope it helps
