When I walked into the house I knew that she would be rather sleeping or watching T.V. Well, I was right! She was laying lazily on the red sofa and snoring. But one thing shocked me when I looked around. The house was all messy and everything was not in its right place. The vase was broken, the wardrobe was open and clothes were on the bed. The books were on the floor and very drawer was opened. I felt very awkward at the moment and then realised that something had happened in my absence, something very terrific. My body froze for a few minutes!

I tried to wake her up. Slowly and lazily , she woke up, still she seemed to be sleepy. But then also, I asked her that want had happened to the house. The answer was unexpected and humourous. She told me that she had been searching for her new trendy purse gifted by me. She searched the whole house messing around and putting and throwing things here and there. Hearing that I laughed out loud at her and she became red hot. And then as compensation, I had to clean the whole house and sort out everything. The feeling at that time was both relieving and stressful.

One day I walked into my house and  was shocked to see everything in it was gone.
The furniture in each room, the fans, the lights, etc. were all gone! I called
out , ‘Mother, Grandmother!’ But no one replied! I went upstairs to my room! There
also I found the room completely empty! I grew panicky! I ran to my neighbor’s
house! I was about to cry when I was alarmed to hear the siren of the firefighters’
truck.



I rushed out. The firefighters were taken aback to see me
standing at the gate of my neighbors. One of them spoke through the portable loudspeaker,
‘Hey young man get away from the house! These two houses are about to collapse!’



I ran towards the firefighters. I asked them where my family
members were. One of them replied, ‘Your family and your neighbors have been
shifted to some other building because your house and your neighbor’s house can
collapse any time. The ground below them has caved in due to the movement of
plates under your house!’



The news just petrified me! However, I was happy my family
was safe!
