Explanation:

First of all convert the given number of CO molecules into number moles of CO

numberof \: moles =  \frac{number \: of \: particles}{6.023 \times  {10}^{23} }

 =  >  \: moles \:  =  \frac{6.02 \times  {10}^{24} }{6.02 \times  {10}^{23} }  = 10 \: mol

Also as from the formula of CO we know that each mole of CO contain half a mole of Oxygen hence the 10 mol would contain 5 mol of oxygen molecules.
