In the figure of questions no. 2 , if a transversal l intersects two lines m and n such that <2= 117° and <6= 63° , then show that the lines m and n are parallel.

to prove anything parellel just apply any property of parallel line

now ange 2 + angle 1= 180 degree
angle 1 = 180-117
angle 1=63
now angle 1 and angle six are equal
hence m and n are parellel lines by the criteria of corresponding angles
