Advantages - They need less maintenance. They did not require much attention. No environment pollution. Does not burn food .No cost of fuel.

Disadvantages - They can be used only in sunny days. They are less efficient .Cannot be used in cloudy weather. Time consuming and take longer time to cook. Cannot be used for frying etc.
