hey mate plz answer this. plz .plz. i will also mark u as brainliest. plz. The mass of a boy is 20kg and the area of the sole of his foot is 0.01m2 . If g=10m/s 2, calculate the pressure exerted on the floor when he is standing on his i) both feet ii) one foot.

The formula for getting pressure is as follows :

Pressure = force / Area

Force is given in Newtons whereas area is given in m²

Given that g = 10 we can get the force.

Force = mg

where mass = m

Force = 20 × 10 = 200 N

Area = 0.01 m²

Doing the substitution we have :

Pressure = 200/0.01 = 20000 N/m²

The Answer is therefore given by:

20000 N/M²
