Hey mate below is your formula... and i try to describe it...... The formula for the projection vector is given by \begin{align*}proj_u v=\left(\frac{u \cdot v}{| u. ... A scalar projection is the length of the vector projection. It is given by the dot product of a vector with a unit vector for that direction.
