in the poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner the poem begins with the scene of the Ancient Mariner stopping and elderly wedding guest on his way to the wedding party. the wedding guest dresses at first and last let him go as the preparations of the party are going on full swing.
later looking into the Ancient Mariner bright eyes the wedding guest does not resist and stays to listen to the ancient mariners grievances. the mariner tells his story.

once when he had his other Madness together set on a sale across the sea. the journey was smooth and the beginning but soon it turned to bring up times of hardships for crew. on father prayer and worship after a few days an Albatross came near the ships. he was seen as the messenger of God which was sent to bring good luck and Fortune for the mariners. it eat the food the mariners game and also played with them and circled about the ship day and night. but one day this Ancient Mariner short this albatraoz with his bow and arrow which was a wanton deed and it was not forget full. do at first the other mariners post his deeds lated Airways scene supporting him and again criticizing him. this shows that the other mariners did not have a strong opinions and their ideas were constantly fluctuating according to the situation. at the end of the poem it is explain that as the punishment for his long did the mariner is made to hang the dead Albatross around his neck.
