x = a \: cosec \: and \: y = a \cot \: then \: find \:  {x}^{2}   -  {y}^{2}

We \: have,
x = a \: cosec
and \: y = a \: cot

Now \: {x}^{2} - {y}^{2}
 = {(a \: cosec)}^{2} - {(a \: cot)}^{2}
 = {a}^{2} {cosec}^{2} - {a}^{2} {cot}^{2}
 = {a}^{2} ( {cosec}^{2} - {cot}^{2} )
 = {a}^{2} \times 1
 = {a}^{2}
