Music, asked by UnknownDude, 1 year ago

Hey people, its your boi UnknownDude!

Here's my question.

Why do living beings respond positively to music?

What happens when we listen to music?

How is music so strong that it is able to influence our emotions?

And don't answer anything obvious like, "Its because we enjoy music". Of course we enjoy music. My question is why?

Does it provoke thought in you?

Does it provide a form of escapism?

Give me a long, deep answer.

music is a feeling .when any human being listen music they react positively because the music touch our soul from the deeper. every feeling doesn't touches our soul as much the music do our heart got a soft touch by the music lyrics . by music our stress gone we feel good it is the thing what we want in every situation either in our birthday , special occasion , sad movement ,happy movement we just forgot everything in music we don't remember any sadness any happiness it is the passion of some people also which became their carrier point like gururandhawa , darshan ,neha etc as their biography show that they were just common people but because of music they are most wanted top listed superstar that is the reason

UnknownDude: I don't know how you wrote so much so fast, but thanks Jacob
jacobcunningham202: Conversely, music that’s too simple or overly familiar is commonly considered boring, even aversive. Those retail workers' experiences fall into this category. Overexposure to holiday music lends itself to too much familiarity, which leads to an aversion to a certain song, artist, or even a whole genre.
jacobcunningham202: i'm a very fast typer
jacobcunningham202: What’s worse is that those workers may not have a choice in what they’re exposed to. That holiday music, because of its overall positive impact on consumer behavior, is going to be played. And whereas shoppers are in the store temporarily, workers are there for hours at a time, day after day, week after week.
jacobcunningham202: So what can retail workers do about it? There's no easy solution, but perhaps they could play a role in shaping the musical offerings at their store by suggesting it try...:
jacobcunningham202: and i've had to answer this before
jacobcunningham202: Rotating multiple playlists or CDs, with multiple styles like traditional and contemporary, as well as a combination of songs with lyrics and instrumental-only works.
jacobcunningham202: Keeping the volume at a comfortable level. Music played too loudly can speed up the process of over-familiarization/dislike.

Because music connect people with their soul.

When we listen music we are somehow distracted from the earthly things.

We enjoy music because it is exclusively made for us.

Yes it provokes thought in me.

Yes it provides a mean of escapism from our daily stress.
