Hey people!Why is it said that the leg swells of a person suffering from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy? Also, why is it considered so dangerous?

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a disease in which the heart muscle becomes abnormally thick (hypertrophied). The thickened heart muscle can make it harder for the heart to pump blood. That's why it is considered so dangerous.
