since, distance is the total length of path covered by the object.

hence, maximum distance = 75 + 60 + 20 = 155 km

North = y-axis

East = x-axis

Minimum distance = Displacement

Displacement = 75j + 60Cos45i + 60Sin45j + 20i

= (20 + 60/√2)i + (75 + 60/√2)j

Magnitude = sqrt((20 + 60/√2)^2 + (75 + 60/√2)^2)

= 132.98 km
