Hey!

Correct answers are as follows=>

a) Acceleration (From portion A to B) = Change in velocity/Time taken

v= 40 km/h
u=0 km/h
t=2h

a= v-u/t
a= 40-0/2
a= 40/2
a= 20 km/h^2

_______________________________

b) Retardation ( From portion C-D) = Change in velocity/Time taken

v= 0 km/h
u=40 km/h
t=6-4 h

a= v-u/t
a= 0-40/6-4
a= -40/2
a= -20 km/h^2

_______________________________

c) Distance travelled in first 2h= Area under A-B-E) = ab/2

[ Area of right angle triangle= ab/2 , where , a = base and b= height]

2×40/2
80/2
= 40 m

Hope it helps...!!!
