A contractor employed 210 men to build a house in 60 days . After 12 days ,he was joined by 70 more men . In how many days will the remaining work be finished ???

after 12 day 70 men joind

total man = 210 + 70 = 280

days left = 60 - 12 = 48

so, 210 men can bulit wall in 48 days...
then 280 men can built wall in x day

in case of inverse proportin

210 × 48 = 280 × x

x = 210 × 48 / 280

x = 10080 / 280

x = 36 days..
