Given,

Kb per 100 gm of acetone = 17.2 degree C

Therefore,

Kb per 1000 gm of acetone = 1.72 degree C

We know,

∆Tb=1000 kb w2/ me w1

Substituting the values,

=1000×1.72×0.456/152×31.4

Therefore, boiling point of solution = 56.30 + 0.16

= 56.46 degree C
