Answers
[ NOTE = REFER TO THE ATTACHMENT (QUESTION-1)]
Step-by-step explanation:
1. We know that the opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal
Given pair of opposite angles are (3x-2)° and (50-x)°
==> 3x-2 = 50-x
==> 4x = 52°
==> x= 13°
Therefore, (3x-2) becomes 37° and (50-x) becomes 37°
We have found one set of equal angles whose measure is 37°
Let the unknown angle be Y
Now for finding the other set of angles we have,
37 + 37 + 2Y = 360° [ angle sum of parallelogram is 360°]
==> 2 Y = 360°- 74°
==> Y = 143°
Therefore, the angles are 37, 37, 143, 143
2. In the figure , we are given a parallelogram WXYZ
Parallelogram
A parallelogram is a four sides polygon in which the opposite sides are equal and parallel to each other.
(1) If length of WZ is 4.5, then length of XY should be 4.5, because opposite sides are equal in length in a parallelogram
(2) If the length of YZ is 8.2cm, then the length of XW will be 8.2cm as opposite sides are equal in
length in parallelogram
(3) If length of OX is 2.5cm , then the length of OZ will be 2.5cm as O is the midpoint of XZ.
(4)If length of WO is 3.3cm ,then the length of WY will be 6.6cm.
(5) If m(WZY) is 120° , then m(WXY) will be 120° because opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal
Then, m(XWZ) will be 60°
