inertia is the tedency of an object stay in one position . before no any force applied on it.For example:suddenly stoping of a car or a bus, when a car or bus suddenly stop our upper body throws in forward direction while lower body sticks to the seet.an object remains in same positon until and unless any force is applied on it.if it is moving it keeps on moving and if it is not moving it remains the same.
