2 {x}^{2}  - 9x + 10 = 0

2 {x}^{2}  - 4x - 5x + 10 = 0

2x(x - 2) - 5(x - 2) = 0

(2x - 5)(x - 2) = 0

 \orange{ \therefore x = 2 \:  \: or \:  \:  \frac{5}{2} }

Answer:

   2x^{2}  - 9x + 10 = 0

2x^{2} -x( 5+4) + 10 = 0

2x^{2} - 5x - 4x + 10 = 0

x( 2x - 5) - 2( 2x-5) = 0

(2x-5)(x-2) = 0

either,  2x-5 = 0            or,   x-2=0

          ⇒ x = \frac{5}{2}                    ⇒  x = 2

∴   x =  5/2  or  2    (ans)
