Number of pens sold=10
Profit earned by selling pens=10*2=Rs.20
Loss incurred=profit earned by selling pens-overall profit=20-10=Rs.10
Loss incurred by selling pencils and erasers=rs.10
Ratio of number of pencils and erasers=7:10
Let no. of pencils be 7x
Let no. of erasers be 10x
Loss incurred by pencils =7x*0.50=3.5x
Loss incurred by erasers=10x*0.15=1.5x
Total loss=3.5x+1.5x
Rs.10=5x
10/5=x
x=2
No of pencils=7x=14
No of erasers=10x=20
