Solution :
Length of the resulting cuboid = ( 5 + 5 + 5) cm.
⇒ 15 cm.
Breadth and height will be remain same.
Breadth = 5 cm
Height = 5 cm
Now,
Volume of cuboid = ( l × b × h )
⇒ ( 15 × 5 × 5 ) cm³
⇒ ( 75 × 5 ) cm³
⇒ 375 cm³
And,
Total surface area of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)
⇒ 2 ( 15 × 5 + 5 × 5 + 5 × 15 )
⇒ 2 ( 75 + 25 + 75 )
⇒ 2 × 175
⇒ 350 cm²
