Total distance=(130+1370)m=1500m

speed=36km/hr=36×5/18=10m/sec

Time taken=dist./speed=1500/10=150sec

=2min30sec

Answer : (4) 5/2 min

Solution :

________________

Given that :

The length of the train = 130m and the length of the bridge = 1370m

Then, total distance will be covered by the train = 130+1370 = 1500m

Also given that :

The speed of the train = 36km/h

In m/sec speed will be = 36×5/18 = 10m/sec

As we know that :

speed = distance/time

=> time = distance/speed

=> time = 1500/10 = 150sec

In minutes : 150/60 = 5/2 minutes

So, 5/2 minutes are taken by train in covering the distance.
