Answer:

F = - k x       restoring force for spring

m a + k x = 0

m d^2 x / dt^2 + k x = 0

This is the equation for SHM with angular velocity w = (k/m)^1/2

w = 2 pi f = 2 pi / T

T =  2 pi / w = 2 pi * (m/k)^1/2

Answer:

Explanation:

harmonic oscillation is that oscillation which can be expressed in terms of simple harmonic function sine function cosine function. harmonic oscillation of constant amplitude and of a single frequency is called simple harmonic motion. simple harmonic oscillation is the simplest form of oscillatory motion this motion arises when the force on the oscillating body is directly proportional to its displacement from the mean position.

mathematically SHM can be expressed as see in pic..

According to Theory of relativity

In our universe all the particle have mass.

so if you are talking about a massless loaded spring then its not right .

1st you have given massless and in the second case you have given loaded so I think its not correct .

So , the time period for the loaded spring having no mass should be 0 .

you can see one more pic which is at last for time period but it is for a object having some mass.
