Heya, can anyone solve this +1 chemistry question.

Molarity = moles of solute/Volume of solution

So if we take 1 of HCL solution then 38% of it I.e 380 ml of HCL is present so Mass of HCL is :

density × volume = 1.19×380 = 452.2 gm

So moles of HCL is 452.2/36.5 = 12.38 mol

So molarity = 12.38/1 = 12.38 M

Answer 2:

Given V = 1l

M = 0.1 M

Thus moles = M × V = 0.1 mol

So Mass = 0.1×36.5 = 3.65

So volume is = mass/density

= 3.65/1.19 = 3.067 ml of HCl.
