why is it said that live like it is your last day .
kuch log aisaa kyu kehte hai ki har din aise jiyo jaise wo tumhara aakhiri din ho.

They say so because no one in this world can predict what can happen in ur life the next moment.
So whatever dreams u have whatever goals u wish to be acheived, do it now. Because u may not no whether u will be alive tommorow or not.
If u let go off your wishes and ambitions today and u think to do it tommorow it will not be fulfilled. So they say think everyday as last day on earth and fulfill ur dreams and ambitions right at that time...

It is a healthy saying that reminds us life is short. We do not know what the day will bring or if we will make it to tomorrow.

It means:

1. Do your best

2. Give your 100%

3. Don’t leave anything on tomorrow

4. Live it to the fullest

Do all you can because you never know what day is your last. So, live every day as if it were your last. And you don’t have regret later about it. That you had time but you leave it on another day. It basically saves you from having regret . This is just my view. And trust me if you start living by this principle your life will change drastically.

Live each day without denying your happiness. Don’t trade your happiness for anything because it might be the last chance you get to be happy.
