In context of plants

                     

→→ Complex tissue consists of more than one type of cells which in simple tissue it only consists of one same and identical cells.

→→ In simple tissue cells conduct similar functions whereas complex tissue performs different types of function.

→→ Simple tissue occurs in almost all parts of the plant whereas complex tissue occurs only on vascular region.

→→ One example of simple and complex tissue are parenchyma and xylem respectively.
