Hey dear friend ,

It's Aarav for your help ---

The difference between simile and metaphor ----

In Simile is a comparison between two kinds of objects of different kinds which have atleast one point in common. The comparison is shows by such words like as-as and so-as .

◆◆◆ Example - Life is like as a stage .◆◆◆

In metaphor is a figure of speech in which things which are compared are treated as one and the some . But the words of comparison like as-as and so-as are not used in it .

◆◆◆ Example - Maharana Pratap was a lion in the battle field .◆◆◆

;) Thanks ;) ☺☺☺☺☺

Difference btw SIMILE and METAPHOR------Both metaphors and similes are literary devices used for figurative comparison. Asimile is a figurative comparison between two things using "like" or "as". ... A metaphor is also a figurative comparison between two things, but does not use "like" or "as"; thecomparison is implied. Example: All the world's a stage.

An example of a simileis: She is as innocent as an angel. An exampleof a metaphor is: She is an angel.
Hope it helps u
