GIVEN: ANGLE A = ANGLE C

AND AB = BC

TO PROVE: TRIANGLE ABD IS CONGRUENT TO TRIANGLE CBE

PROOF: IN TRIANGLE ABD AND CBE

ANGLE A = ANGLE C ( GIVEN)

SIDE AB = SIDE CB(GIVEN)

ANGLE B = ANGLE B (COMMON)

THEREFORE, BY "ASA RULE " TRIANGLE ABD IS CONGRUENT TO TRIANGLE CBE.
