Answer:

Explanation

Distance = speed * time

45/h

45 km/ 60 min

15 km / 20 min

Distance = speed * time

45*3 hour + 15 km

= 150 km

New speed = 36/ h

time = distance / speed

150/36

= 4.16 hours

hence the bus will cover the same distance in 4 hours 16 minutes

Answer:

4 hr 15 min

Step-by-step explanation:

given:

average speed=45 km/hr

total time(t)=3 hr 20 min

=3⅓ hr

so,the distance covered(S)=<v> ×t

=45* 3⅓

=45*10/3

=150 km

case 2:

given:

average speed=36 km/hr

distance (S)=150 km/hr

thus,time(t)= distance (S)/avg. speed

=150/36 hr

=25/6 hr

=4 ¼ hr

=4 hr 15 min
