Dear mates here is your answer

⏩An ammeter is a measuring device used to measure the electric current in a circuit. A voltmeter is connected in parallel with a device to measure its voltage, while an ammeter is connected in series with a device to measure its current.

⏩Voltmeter is always connected in parallel. ... Voltmeter is used to measure voltage is connected in paralled to device / circuit of which voltage is to be measured. Ammeter is connected in series to circuit as current which is to be measured has to be passed through its terminal.

the positive terminal of ammeter should be connected to positive terminal of the battery similarly negative  terminal should be connected to negative side of the battery. similarly voltmeter should be connected
