It all depends on our beliefs....
And yes if we believe god then we must believe ghost too because if there is any positive energy then there must be a negative energy too to neutralise it and that's the phenomena on which our world is working .

Well , I don't believe in ghost but if I'll say this then I must say that I don't believe in God too as I have never seen him .

It's just our society which made us familiar with God , prayer , temples and all. ...

Its because, When we are spoon fed, We are told that Hanuman jii will save you from ghosts..... Issle, Hanuman Chalisa Padho

Although, If I go on a Ghost House, I would Believe that their are ghosts And that would last for a day or 2  

We Generally Believe that gods exists But Believe that there are no ghosts, I am also of that type....

Its Because,

Gods are considered as a symbol of goodness. Peace, eternity 

While ghosts are considered as evil, Bad people....
