Hey friend, Harish here.

Here is your answer:

1) WHY ARE THE PLANETS ROUND ?

There always exists something known as center of gravity for an object. So, these attract many particles in space . As they give an equal force of attraction in all the direction they form a spherical shape.

2)ARE THESE SHAPES PERFECT?

No, Not all the planets have perfect spherical shape. They become oblique due to may other disturbances caused in their formation , like some asteroid collision and other external forces.

3)THE PLANETS WHICH HAVE A ALMOST PERFECT SHAPE.

Those planets are : Mercury & Venus.

Hey Mate
Here is your answer

All the planets that we see are spherical in shape due to the centre of gravity. Sphere is the perfect shape for the planet to maintain its centre of gravity and thus all planets are spherical in shape.

Hope it helps
