By putting the value of n = 1,2,3.... (n∈N) (or) (n belongs to NATURAL NUMBERs) we can find the values of First, Second, Third..... terms.

Sₓ = n²(n+1)

Here x = n(because They don't have option for 'n' Subscript)

Now, S₁ = a₁ = 1²(1+1)

a₁ = 2  -------(i)

S₂ = 2²(2+1)

⇒S₂ = 4(3) = 12  ---------(ii)

S₂ = a₁ + a₂

a₂ = S₂ - a₁

a₂ = 12- 2    [From i & ii]

a₂ = 10

Hence The first two terms are a₁ = 2 and a₂ = 10.
