This Change of hydrated salt to anhydrated salt in which loosely bound water molecules (water of crystallisation) are lost by the compound through evaporation or any other physical or chemical methods is called efflorescence.
Thanks.

Hi ,

here is your answer !!!

here your answer is => Option number " A "

explanation :-

Efflorescence :- it is process through which substance / salt. loss water of crystallization .

for example :-

Mgso4 . 7 H20 ________∆ ==> Mgso4 + 6 H20 .

here there is loss of water of crystallization !!!

same in case of washing soda !!

NaHCO3 . 10 H20 ===> NaHCO3 + 9 H20

hence , option number " A " is correct

hope it helps you dear friend!!

have a nice day !!

thanks !!
