Question :
Is reservation of seats in colleges, offices good or not ? Give your views for or against the statement. (Can be short but effective)
Answer :
No , it's not good .
Reservation is the main cause of the unemployment in India .
Because there are many people which are agree to work on the going wages but they are not able to get jobs due to reservation .
It is creating problems day by day for the general caste people .
In Haryana people criticized it too , but all in vain .
Many people were shoot out too , but all in vain .
If we want our country to be a developed country, we have to archieved the Reservation .
History of Reservation :
The reservation was applied in our country after independence by the descision of our former prime minister and vice Prime Minister , Pt. Jwahar LAL Nehru and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel because of the reason that at the time of independence there were many poor people in our country especially the backward classes .
So , in the hope of equality they applied reservation for a short time but it still continues .
No one is abolishing it , this is all because they have the fear that they will not be back in rule after it .
But now the general caste people are being backward castes .
Shame on it .....=_="
I am hoping that someone from us will abolish reservation soon .
So , that there will be equality amongst our next generation .
And sorry if it hurts you .
Please forgive me .
Actually I am also a general category people that's why all these are my feelings .
Again sorry if you found anything wrong in my part .

Hey !!
Thanks Puggi for asking this question !!
This answer depends on my opinion but not to sledge or disappoint some one.
Going to the early 1950s during the making of Indian constitution, most of the Indians were poor. Untouchablity was practised during those days. Seeing this the father of Indian constitution B.R Ambedkar who is from a backward caste called Mahars wanted to improve the status of those Untouchables.
As per article 46 the people who are in the category of scheduled castes and tribes were given some reservations in educational institutions, offices for a certain period of time. Reservations in those times doesn't mean discrimination of others but to improve the status of SCs and STs reservations were done.
Coming to your question,
Whether I support reservations or not ?
Well I am a human from minority i.e muslim. But as per social student I don't support this reservations because reservations now are based on castes but many SCs or STs are good in status compare to those times. The elite people in past now are very harsh conditions for example Brahmins.
Let's discuss about Brahmins. Brahmins are the upper caste people according to the Varna system. But now their conditions are very critical compare to dalits. They don't have employment opportunities. They should be devoted in temples itself.
Coming to Muslims, { I am not saying this as a Muslim but iam saying as an Indian citizen } most of the people thinks that Muslims are rich in economy. But they are rich in their past history as they are from sultans or any others royal family. You can see many Muslims starve for food in many parts of India.
Finally, I conclude that the reservations should be based on the family economic conditions but not based on the caste or religions. It is hard task for a country with huge population but in my view it's best.
Sorry If my answer hurts anyone but this is the fact I want to convey.
Once again thanks Puggi for the question.
