Ohm's law :- It state that at constant temperature the potential difference (V) across the two points of the metallic conductor in the circuit is directly proportional to the amount of current flowing through it.

Mathematical expression :-

V = IR

R is contant and it stand for resistance

I = Current

V = Potential difference

ohm = 1 Volt(V) / 1 Ampere(A)

When the potential difference is 1 Volt and the amount of current is 1 Ampere then the resistance will be 1 ohm.

S.I unit :- Ohm

Answer:

Ohms law states that (at a constant temperature, area of cross section, length of the conductor and nature of material), potential difference is directly proportional to the current passing through it.

v = voltage

i = current

v  \:  \alpha  \: i

v = ki , (k = proportionality constant)

v = iR ,(R = proportionality constant, resistance offered by

conductor)

This is ohms law
