gases in normal temperature and pressure can be liquified when temperature and pressure is decreased and vice-versa....

Explanation:

We liquefy gases by the process of fractional distillation.

In this process the air is 1st filtered, then is compressed. Due to this compression, the air becomes hot. This hot air is passed to a cooling chamber when cold water run in a small tube.

The air becomes cold and is turned into gas. After this the liquid air and dry ice(Solid Carbon dioxide) gets separated.  Then this liquid air passes through an expansion jet. Here the most of the gases are removed. The liquid oxygen is then filled up in a big container.
