It is responsible for the removal of interstitial fluid from tissues.

It absorbs and transports fatty acids and fats as chyle from the digestive system.

It transports white blood cells to and from the lymph nodes into the bones.

Here's the Answer :

Functions of lymphatic system :

Lymphatic system transfers the material from blood to the body cells and vice versa , therefore it acts as "middle man"

- It drains excess tissue fluid from the extra cellular spaces back into the blood .

- It takes lymphocytes and antibodies from lymphatic nodes to the blood.

- It transports fats digested and absorbed in the intestine to the blood in form of chylomicron droplets.

- It destroys the invading microorganisms and foreign particles in the lymphatic nodes .
