HYPERTONIC SOLUTIONS:-

THE SOLUTION HAVING GREATER CONCENTRATION OF SOLUTE THAN THAT OF OUTSIDE SO AS THE SOLUTE CONCENTRATION IS GREATER THE SOLUTE POTENTIAL INCREASES AS A RESULTS THE WATER POTENTIAL DECREASES WHICH RESULTS IN THE NEGATIVE WATER POTENTIAL.

HYPOTONIC SOLUTION:-

THE SOLUTION HAVING GREATER CONCENTRATION OF SOLVENT MEANS HAVING THE GREATER CONCENTRATION OF WATER MOLECULES AS A RESULT THE WATER POTENTIAL INCREASES THAN OF THE SOLUTE POTENTIAL..
